Love that quote :) I don't remember specific passages; I do remember going back to re-read sentences just to soak up the words and marvel at how they'd been stringed together to describe what was going on so beautifully. I'll have to re-read it and highlight some of them at some point! Have you read other George Eliot books?

I have not, sadly. If I only read one Eliot book, do you recommend Middlemarch?
neither have I! I think that would be the one to go for too though since it's so talked about. But I'd love to read other books by her.
